Echinacea (Echinacea Purpurea) is a perennial plant from the family Asteraceae. The origin is United States. The plant is 90-100 cm high. The stems are straight, rough. The basal leaves are oval, serrated, sharply narrowed to the petiole, and are collected in a rosette. Inflorescences are baskets. They are large, up to 15 cm in diameter. The flowers are purple-pink, pointed at the apex, up to 4 cm long. Echinacea blooms from July to September for about 60 days.*

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
